BE Campaign

Picture
The BE Campaign is an effort of the Equity and Community Consortium (ECC). The consortium is made up of several area public agencies, including the cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane County, University of Oregon, Lane Community College, Eugene Water and Electric Board, and the Eugene, Bethel and Springfield school districts.

The purpose of the BE campaign is promote and increase our community’s respect for diversity and to celebrate that diversity in a highly visible manner. Several key terms have been identified for use during the campaign, including “courageous,” “intentional,” “welcoming,” etc.

As part of the campaign, we are taking photos across the community that represent the key terms identified for the campaign. The photos will be used online, in printed materials and possibly in large-scale outdoor advertisements.
